 Timetable
This class is designed by physiotherapists to meet the specific needs of women over 50.
As we get older our exercise needs change. Due to hormonal changes our bone density and muscle mass decrease and we are also more at risk of falls. Bone density decreases 2-3% per year after menopause. Studies show that regular exercise can prevent this loss of bone density.
This class uses weights, fitballs, bands, and circuit equipment. Working against resistance and weight bearing exercises increase bone density and muscle mass which will improve balance and give you a fabulous stronger body. Specific exercises and modifications are included to carefully meet individual needs.

All classes are conducted by physiotherapists with a special interest in exercise for older women.
